Danyaal Kaleel

Danyaal Kaleel is a PhD student at Queen Mary University of London looking into developing soft robots capable for underwater exploration and inspection. His PhD supervisors are Professor Kaspar Althoefer at Queen Mary University of London and Professor Benoit Clement at Ensta Bretagne. His PhD is funded by DSTL (Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) and is done in collaboration with Ensta Bretagne.​

 

Danyaal grew up in London and studied Robotics Engineering for his Bachelors degree at Queen Mary University of London before starting his PhD. He has lots of experience in Robotics Engineering including designing and building robots, robot kinematics and robot programming.  â€‹
